NIGERIA PARTNERS KENYA TO COMBAT TERRORISM

Nigeria and Kenya have expressed their readiness to collaborate in the global fight against terrorism to achieve peace and stability in the globe.

This report however is enclosed in a communiqué of the meeting between President GoodLuck Jonathan and President Uhuru Kenyatta, of Kenya, at the State House, Abuja.

According to the communiqué read by the Minister of State for Foreign Affair II, Nurudeen Mohammed at the meeting, the two leaders agreed to combat terrorism and curb international crimes like human tracking and money laundering through exchange of information and encouragement of more established partnership, exchange of information and encouragement of more direct contact between the capital authorities of both countries.

The two presidents also signed an agreement for the establishment of a joint commission for cooperation noting that key African countries ought to collaborate more to attain success in the implementation of the deal for greater economic advancement.
