The presentation of the 2014 budget by President Goodluck Jonathan, before a joint session of the National Assembly, has been suspended the second time.

Mr. Jonathan was billed to address the lawmakers, Tuesday, a week after the presentation was originally scheduled to take place.

Last week’s session was shifted because the Medium Term Expenditure Framework , the government’s financial outlay for the next three years, was not adopted by the Senate and the House of Representatives.

As of time of this report , no official  reason  has been given for the decision to reschedule Tuesday’s presentation.
