President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan
Nigeria-President Goodluck Jonathan, who is currently in London, for the Nigeria’s Honorary International Investors’ Council meeting, has reportedly taken time off his busy schedule in the British capital to seek medical attention.
In a statement issued by his media aide, Dr. Reuben Abati, the President who left Abuja on Wednesday morning “became indisposed and was not present at the opening of the meeting on Thursday.”
President Jonathan has since been examined by competent medical practitioners. He has been advised to rest for a few days.
The statement however said that the Presidency wishes to assure all Nigerians that President Jonathan’s condition is nothing serious and that the medical attention he has sought is only precautionary.
