24-Year-Old Man Nabbed For Killing 11-Month-Old Baby in Niger State

NIGERIA- A 24-year-old farmer has been arrested for allegedly beheading an 11-month-old girl for rituals in Minna, Niger State, Nigeria.

Danladi Abubakar was arrested by the State Criminal Investigation Department, SCID, and confessed that the deal was to fetch him N20,000. He was allegedly contracted by a man in Bida, Niger State, who is said to be on the run.

Our source disclosed that the accused was said to have sneaked into the room of the baby’s father, Malam Mohammed Worogi, before smuggling the baby out to a hidden place where he eventually beheaded her and also severed her private parts.

It was gathered by CEOAFRICA.com that the sudden disappearance of the girl aroused curiosity and the villagers constituted a search team which did not yield immediate result, until a prayer session was organized. After the prayer, Danladi came out to confess his act.

The incidence was immediately reported at the police divisional office in Lemu town leading to Danladi’s arrest.

He was charged to Minna Magistrate Court 7 on one-count charge of culpable homicide punishable under Section 222 of the panel code law.
