Twenty-three-year-old Olusunkanmi Oluwaseun on Tuesday alleged threat to his life eight years after the demise of his father.

Speaking with newsmen in Ibadan, he said his father, a businessman died leaving behind a vast empire.

According to him, being the only son of the deceased, his life had been in danger over his late father's property.

He alleged that his uncle (his late father's only half-brother) Chief Ola Adigun, a politician, living in Lagos had severally threatened his life.

He noted that Chief Adigun took all their late father's properties and chased them out of their late father's house in Ikeja and later sold it.

"My mother (Toyin) whom he assaulted severally and threatened to kill if she didn't marry him (in order to have legal access to their father's properties) had fled the country since 2006, and I am left to survive," he said.
According to him, he had been receiving series of death threat from the uncle, Chief Adigun.

"I have filed a complaint at the police station, he was arrested and was interviewed but denied all allegations, so they released him and said they will continue further investigation.

"There is a death threat on my life, I get mysterious calls from time to time," he lamented.
He urged security agencies in the country to come to his aid, stressing that his mother is still on exile and that the family members dread the man, Chief Adigun as well.

But in a swift reaction in a telephone interview, Chief Adigun said there was no evidence or iota of truth that he sold the house and was threatening to kill his nephew, whom he described as his own son.

He noted that it was his mother that was using Oluwaseun against him because of her deceptive way of life.

At the Odo-ona Police Division, police said the matter was still under investigation.
