NIGERIA- The National Disciplinary Committee of the ruling Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has expelled Alhaji Abubakar Baraje, Prince Olagunsoye Oyinlola and Dr. Sam Sam Jaja from the party for what was described as anti-party activities.

Baraje was the national chairman of the New PDP while Jaja was his deputy and Oyinlola was the National Secretary of the Baraje faction.

Speaking about the decision of the disciplinary committee on Wednesday, Deputy Chairman of the Disciplinary Committee, Chief Ebenezer Babatope, said the accused were guilty as charged and they should be expelled from the party.

However, Senator Kazaure, who was earlier suspended with the trio, has been deferred for one month.

Babatope said Senator Kazaure would still appear before the committee on December 10 to clarify certain issues relating to his case. His suspension was extended for further 30 days.
