The Oyo state house of assembly has deliberated on the rehabilitation of the Saki-Illeisha Baruba road.

The motion which was moved by Honorable R.T. Adekunle (Saki West ) minority leader on Thursday was seconded by Yisau Adesope (Orelope).

Honorable Adekunle urged that the executive as a matter of urgency should rehabilitate the road for socio economic development of the Oke Ogun dwellers.

Some other members who contributed include Hon. Farinto, Hon. Segun Ajanaku (Ibadan South West 1), Hon. D. Olaniyan ( Egbeda 1) who is also the deputy speaker of the house.

After much deliberation the following were resolved:

1. The Oyo state house of assembly committee on works and transport should visit the road to know its true state.

2. Ministry of works should appear with the contractor before the house in two weeks to explain why the work stoped.

3. The chairman contract committee should brief the house about all abandoned projects.

The house sitting was however adjoined till Tuesday the 3^rd of December 2013.
