Super Eagles and Chelsea F.C of England defender, Kenneth Omeruo is set for a loan move this January to Swansea, Queens Park Rangers or any other premiership or championship side.

According to information gathered from the agent of Omeruo, Obinna Emelogu Chukwudi, latest loan deal have come from the two clubs mentioned above.

“There have been some interests from both the English Premier League and the Championship for Kenneth.

“From the EPL, we have had the likes of Swansea City and Hull City, while in the Championship we have got Queens Park Rangers, Watford and Huddersfield Town.

“A decision on where the player will go will only be known in January, but Chelsea would prefer he stays in England and that he joins a decent club on loan till the end of the season.”

Keneth Omeruo, who was part of the Nigerian team that won the 2013 African Cup of Nations in South Africa, joined Chelsea shortly after displaying scintillating performance at the FIFA U-20 World Cup, Colombia 2011, where Nigeria lost to Alexandra Lacazette-inspired French side 3-2 at the quarter final stage.

He was in the Golden Eaglets squad that won silver at the 2009 FIFA U-17 World Cup held in Nigeria. The team lost 1-0 in the final match to Switzerland.

The 20-year-old Omeruo, who has been on a season and a half loan at Dutch club Ado Den Haag, has continued to train with the Chelsea main squad and has also featured for the London team’s U21 team and reserves.
