Former Vice President of Nigeria, Atiku Abubakar, has been urged to make himself available for the 2019 presidential elections under the Peoples Democratic Movement (PDM), as the party has the potentials to win the next general elections.
According to Ceoafrica, a chieftain of the PDM in Igboland, Dr Haroun O. Ajah, who made the call yesterday in a statement, also warned the party not to merge with other political parties where it will lose its identity.
“All political parties are, however, welcomed to join and fly the flag of our great party, the PDM,” Ajah said.
He commended the stand of Atiku on the restructuring of Nigeria, which he said, remained the only way to a better administrative system for the country.
