South Africa presided over by Jacb Zuma has lost a popular gospel musician, Lundi Tyamara, who died at the age of 38 after a battle with abdominal tuberculosis and a liver ailment.
His death, at a hospital in the commercial capital, Johannesburg, came a day after a night vigil was held at the city's Central Methodist Church to pray for his recovery, Ceoafrica reports.
Last month, another South African gospel star, Sfiso Ncwane, died of kidney failure at the age of 37. Fans of Tyamara have been paying tribute to him on Twitter, which are below;
He put up a good fight, he ran his race and now belongs to the ages. Rest in perfect peace, Lundi Tyamara. #RIPLundi #MphefumloWam
#LundiTyamara Great talent lost here. Even the last album was very good, Legend.
