The dog that bit, Habibu Barrow, the son of Gambia’s President, Adama Barrow, when the African country of Gambia was shrouded in mystery over President Yahya Jammeh’s refusal to hand over power, has been killed, Agriculture ministry has said.

"We concluded that it was not wise to allow this dog to continue roaming in the streets. We carried out some test and realised that the dog is not infected with rabies". The anonymous source said.
According to Ceoafrica, the eight year old boy reportedly died on the way to hospital in Manjai near the Gambian capital, Banjul, and his burial was done without his father in attendance due to advice given him by other African leaders at the summit in Mali, to stay in Senegal for safety.
Adama Barrow won the Gambia’s presidential election on the 1st of December polls, whose result was initially accepted by former President Yahya Jammeh, but later made a U-turn rejecting the result and also called for a fresh election with complacent electoral officials.
Yahya Jammeh eventually left The Gambia after the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) waded into the matter with the deployment of troops.
