The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has fixed Saturday February 11th for the Langtang South State Constituency rerun election.

Professor Jacob Jatau, the Resident Electoral Commissioner (REC) in charge of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), has been assigned to conduct the election.

Langtang South has 68 polling units at 28 voting points.

A statement by the deputy director, Voter Education and Publicity of INEC in Plateau, Osaretin Imahiyereobo, stated that the election would exclude the PDP and its candidate, Vincent Bulus, whose election was invalidated following a Federal High Court judgment after he was proved to be an ex-convict.
