AUTHORITIES OF UI, NIGERIA ORDERS STUDENTS OUT OF HALLS ON ACCOUNT OF FG/ASUU IMPASSE

The authorities of the University of Ibadan, Nigeria have yesterday ordered the vacation of students from halls of residence before noon on Tuesday 23 July, 2013.

 

This report was stated in the news bulletin of the University of Ibadan signed by the institution’s Registrar, Olujimi Olukoya.

 

The decision of the University authorities became imperative in view of the prevailing strike in Nigeria Universities.

 

Olusegun Ajiboye, the Chairman of ASUU University of Ibadan chapter, said the strike embarked upon by his members only disturbed the teaching exercise but the academic staffs are fully occupied with their research works and community services.
