11 year old Nigerian Girl Zuriel Oduwole, who exploded on the global scene yet again by making the New Africa magazine December 2013 list of Africa’s 100 Most Influential people last week, has just made her debut to the Chinese audience via her first interview for the Chinese CCTV.

What makes her interview for CCTV remarkable was the fact that she spoke to her audience in Mandarin [Chinese], to the delight of the interviewer.

China is becoming the dominant partner in Africa and on Africa’s infrastructure development, and Zuriel is already showing the way in what the next generation of Africa is embarking upon – to be equals and empowered to deal intelligently, with the next generation of Chinese leaders.

She was featured in the list of the most influential Africans in 2013 along with such notable figures  as Nigeria’s finance minister Ngozi OkonjoIweala, Ghana’s Foreign Minister Hannah Tetteh, Nigerias’s Central bank Governor SanusiLamisoSanusi, the Presidents of Kenya, Malawi and Gabon, Billionaire Businessman Aliko Dangote, Archbishop Desmond Tutu, McKinsey CEO LekeAcha, AU Chairperson Madam NkosazanaZuma, ADP President Donald Kaberuka, and many highly accomplished individuals.

She was the youngest person on the list, by a very wide margin at just 11 years old. She is what Africa should be, and what all parents want their children to be.
