Blackout traps Malawian parliament staff in lift.

Electricity blackout at Malawi's parliament building has left a staff member receiving medical attention after he was trapped in a lift.
According to Ceoafrica, the blackout has led to the suspension of parliamentary business.
The African country of Malawi presided upon by Peter Mutharika experience power outages for an average of 6 to 12 hours every day, which have been heavily affecting small businesses, whose entrepreneurs have resorted to generators.
It was learnt that in the rural areas of Malawi, women due for childbirth often go with their own lighting, usually candles or torches with them.
