Over the rising cost of goods and services, the Managing Director of THLD International Logistics Limited, Oluwasegun Olajuwon, has urged Nigerians to embrace alternative fuel system by converting their Premium Motor Spirit, (PMS), vehicles to Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG).

According to Ceoafrica, Olajuwon gave the advice in Lagos at a press conference, where he stated that converting vehicles to LPG will reduce transportation cost by 40 per cent.

He stressed the need for the government and other concerned stakeholders to make LPG, otherwise known as domestic gas, cheaper, available and accessible to Nigerians, with a view to reducing the burden on fuel.

According to him, many countries have been using the alternative for years, while it is only being introduced into Nigeria.

Olajuwon also said using domestic gas will make the environment safer as it will reduce environmental pollution, revolutionised road transport system as well as reduce transport fares; he revealed that his company plans to convert vehicles in various states with Plateau State taking the lead with 85 vehicles.
