OGUN STATE POLICE COMMAND APPREHENDS BOKO HARAM SUSPECT

CEOAFRICA correspondent gathered that Ogun State Police Command, Nigeria has arrested one Giraima Umaru, who confessed to be a member of Boko Haram sect.

The arrest of the 22-year-old man at Ishari Kara cattle Market in Ifo Local Government Area of Ogun State was confirmed by the State Police Public Relations Officers, Muyiwa Adejobi who also stated that the arrest was out of robust intelligent gathering of the command.

The PPRO also said that Umaru confessed to have involved in the killing of innocent Nigerians and had to leave Maiduguri due to the aggressive man-hunt by security operatives before he was caught up by the Ogun State police operatives.

Adejobi also said Umaru was already in cell.

However, the good people of Ogun State have been appreciated by the command for their collaboration in sharing of information for proactive measure in preventing crimes and criminality in the state, as well promised adequate protection to the community and confidentiality of any information given to the police.
