BREAKING: Police prosecute Peace Corps Commandant, Others in Court

The Nigerian Police Force has Monday, arraigned the National Commandant of the Peace Corps of Nigeria, Dickson Akoh, before an Abuja Federal High Court.

Akoh and other senior officers of the corps arrived the court premises amid heavy security.

Akoh was detained was rearrested and detained on Sunday by the police over an allegation of illegal establishment of the organisation and the use of military training facilities for intended personnel of the Corps.

The court proceeding under Justice Gabriel Kolawole is currently on-going.
