FACH to host 2017 World Families Congress

The Foundation for African Cultural Heritage, FACH, is set to hold the 2017 African Regional World Congress of Families in Lagos Nigeria on 27th to 29th March, 2017.

FACH is a non-governmental, non-political, not-for-profit association of NGOs and organizations in Nigeria whose main objective is to shape of public policy and government legislation through research and advocacy on personal freedom, value-driven health plans, family values, women’s rights and empowerment, child survival and protection.

The three-day congress which is scheduled to hold at NIIA, Victoria Island, Lagos will feature lectures scheduled as follow; Day One – 27th March “Government Officials, Civil Society Organisations, The Law and The Press”; Day Two – 28th March “Health, Education and Society” and Day Three - 29th March “Religious Freedom and the Law”.

The Guest Speakers for the occasion are; the President of Family Watch International, Sharon Slater; President of WBC, Mr Brian Brown; the Campaign Manager for Citizen GO, Mr Josh Craddock and Founder of Pearls and Treasures Trust, Aketch Aimba.

Also scheduled to speak at the event are; Bishop of Oyo State, Bishop Badejo, Former Nigerian Ambassador to the United Nations, Ambassador Usman Sariki; Dr Theresa Okafor and other eminent speakers.

The event will commence from 9 am to 4 pm daily starting from 27th and ending on 29th of March. The registration fee for each participant at the congress is N3000 and the registration is scheduled to hold by 8 am on the slated congress days.
