Dr Dakuku Peterside, has called on Nigerians to continue to pray for President Muhammadu Buhari, who he said had been working assiduously to reposition Nigeria and restore its lost glory

The Director-General of Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency (NIMASA), in an Easter message on Friday, called on Christians to always portray virtues of love, sacrifice and kindness as demonstrated by Jesus Christ during His sojourn on earth.

Peterside urged them to reflect on the sacrifices made by Jesus Christ and do things that would contribute to the good of humanity.

He said the period should not just be used for merriment and visiting family friends, but Christians “must lead by example in terms of contributing meaningfully to the growth and development of Nigeria.”

According to Peterside, Christ made the ultimate sacrifice in order to save mankind and bring hope to those who had lost direction and salvation, by laying down His life.
