NIGERIA (Rivers)- An High Court sitting in Port Harcourt has directed that Hon. Evans Bipi, a member of Rivers State House of Assembly should stop parading himself as the speaker pending the determination of suit brought against him.

Declaring the verdict yesterday, Justice C.N Wali of Ahoada High Court said the suit filed by Speaker Otelemanba Dan Amachree, his Deputy Leyii Kwanne and others, should stand and pending the final verdict, Bipi should stop parading himself as Speaker.

The judge adjourned the motion on notice for hearing till January 6, 2014.
