The Chairman House Committee on Telecommunication, Federal House of Representative, Honourable Saheed Fijabi has stated that physical scuffle that is characteristic of Nigerian legislative members during a plenary is not unique to Nigeria alone.

Hon. Fijabi made this statement during SWEGOP media chat held at CEOAfrica premises, adding that although it is not proper, it is sometimes unavoidable.

He noted that the House of Rep has instituted a committee on Ethics to draw up codes and conducts that will regulate and ensure civil behaviour of legislative members.
