Ayanfeoluwa ‘The Living Sax’ Wins Easter Fiesta Ibadan 2017 Grand Prize

Ayanfe-Oluwa 'The living sax' has emerged the grand prize winner of the talent hunt competition for upcoming artists at Easter Fiesta Ibadan on Monday, 17th April 2017 at Hall of Grace, Jogor Center Ibadan.

Ayanfe-oluwa made a performance using his bare hands to make a sax-like musical presentation and it impressed the audience until they began to shower him with gifts.

Meanwhile, he had arrived at the venue of the audition since 6am despite coming from a very far distance. However, he persisted and waited till the beginning of the programme when he made his impressive presentation.

Other upcoming performances that gained awards were Infinity Drama Group, 2nd prize winner and Cyon Ascension Voice the 3rd prize.

Special performances were made by The Symphony from Saint Josephs, Lagos, Bisola Ballet Dance Group, The Dynamics, New Generation Band-a physically challenged musical band, The Dominican Brothers, Young Ascension Brothers, Sis Ronke, Olu-Omo group, among others.

Easter Fiesta is one of the most anticipated events  held second time since its debut in 2016 lived up to its expectation to deliver a lively moment of praise and worship.

It was well attended by respectable personalities, religious leaders, business tycoons and professionals like Prince Adeniyi Oladeinde and his wife,Mr Babajide Jnr., representative of Dr Babajide Ojo Johnson, African Union Director of Youth Education Project and CEO, His Majesty Global Schools, Mr Salako, CEO Merchant Laundry, Mr YinkaAgboola, Publisher, Power Magazine, AlhajiIshiak, Vice President of Table 1 club, Mr GbengaObembe, Mr. Ola-Ojo and a host of other dignitaries.

Prince Adeniyi Oladeinde, the chairman of the occasion encouraged the winner, Ayanfeoluwa and other youths to keep faith as they do not need to be like so many others before they can be successful.

“There are other people that have practiced and prepared so hard with different instruments and skills in order to win this grand prize, but you Ayanfe-oluwa won using nothing but your simple bare hands,” he remarked.

Students of the University of Ibadan also seized the occasion to honour Prince OlaniyiOladeinde for his Philanthropic acts towards the students.

 The award was presented to Prince Oladeinde by The Vice President, University Of Ibadan Student Union, Kadiri Babarinde with AdeoyeAdejare and Suliyat

Also, Mr Babajide Jnr. Representing Dr BabajideJohnson made a donation of two hundred thousand for the furtherance of the event.

Popular Gospel Artists like Big B, Fada Fuji,Tinu Smith, Psalmist AdeoluAfolami, Seun Paul, Bois Olorun, Dare Pop, and a host of other dramatists like Ayo Ajewolea.k.a Alfa Sule thrilled the audience with spectacular performances, with popular hit gospel songs, melodious music and prophetic performances.

Damola Dipo, one of the female artists excited both young and old with her performance which moved all the audience including the physically challenged to dance with enthusiasm.
