NIGERIA (Adamawa) – After a meeting held yesterday at the Government House in Yola, Adamawa State Capital, members of the Executive Council of the state including Secretary to the State Government and Special Advisers have officially defected to the All Progressives Congress (APC) from Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

While speaking on behalf of other cabinet members the Secretary to the Government, Mr Kobis Thimnu, said their decision to join the governor to APC was a collective one.

“We, today, unanimously decided to follow Governor Nyako to APC for good”, Thimnu said.

“We shall mobilise for APC across the state. In fact, we have established offices in all the 226 wards to ensure the proper entrenchment of the party in Adamawa”, Thimnu said.

In his reaction, Governor Murtala Nyako, thanked them for the decision to join him saying the APC represented justice and fairness.
