Former General Manger of Oyo State Road Maintenance Agency, Engr. Raufu Olaniyan has said it is time for Oke Ogun to produce the governor of Oyo State.

According to him, it will be a mistake to think Oke-ogun is too small to produce the governor of the state.

Engnr. Olaniyan said this during a media session with The South-west Group of Online Publishers (SWEGOP) on Tuesday

While addressing questions partaining to the feasibility of his decision to defect to All Progressive Congress he said that it';s hightime someone from his constituency- Oke-Ogun- emerged as governor.

" Jesus came from Nazareth, hence it will be a mistatke to think Oke-Ogun is too small to produce the next governor.

"If Oke ogun presents its best candidates, the same will win the elections, he said.

It will be recalled that governorship candidates in Oyo state have monstly emerged from Ibadan and non has ever emerged from Oke-Ogun, although Ogbomoso another minority bloc broke the feat with Governor Akala';s ascension to government.
