The wife of the Executive Governor of Oyo state, Mrs Florence Ajimobi, was on Wednesday morning(Christmas day), at the Adeoyo Hospital to visit the first children delivered on christmas day tagged Xmas baby

This visit was to lay example of what christ preaches which is giving, sharing and showing love and care to others at Christmas Mrs Ajimobi, represented by the Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Women Affairs, Mrs Foluso Sali, gave gifts to 13 babies including a set of twin boys

The first baby, a female weighing 3kg, was delivered to Seun and Joy Ajala at 4.13am on xmas day while the second baby, another female weighing 2.5kg was delivered to Ayobami and Oyindamola Aribisala at 5.00am

The third baby, also a female weighing 3.5kg was delivered at 8.10am to Mrs Juliet Ogunniyi Aside these three babies given presents and money, 10 other children who were picked based on time of birth also got gifts and money from the First lady

Mrs Ajimobi also donated gifts to children on admission in the children wards in the hospital to give them a taste of xmas

Speaking at the hospital, Mrs Sali said the visit was borne out of Mrs Ajomobi's care for children in the state, adding that the First Lady had for over a week held a series of programmes for children in the state.
