Police Rescues Abducted Lebanese In Kano

NIGERIA (Kano) –Mr. Hassan Zeid, a Lebanese national who was abducted by unknown gunmen at his factory in Kano last Monday, has been rescued by the Kano State Police Command.

While disclosing this to the media, police spokesperson, ASP.Musa Magaji Majia said all major and minor exit roads in Kano were blocked to ensure that the kidnappers did not leave the state.

“As the search was vigorously intensified today (Friday) at about 9 am, Mr. Hassan was found by a team of policemen abandoned on the outskirts of Sharada industrial layout unhurt.”

Although no arrest has been made so far, the police command said the abducted Lebanese had been re-united with his family.
