Babatunde Raji Fashola, the Governor of Lagos State, has approved a total of 120 automobiles for traditional rulers in the state.

The gesture, which also comes with an undisclosed cash reward, is assumed to be the Governor’s yuletide gift to the monarchs.

But observers opined that it is simply an effort to cement his good political relationship with the traditional rulers, and of course, their subjects.
