Having failed to secure the signature of Golden Eaglets Star, Kelechi Iheanacho, Manchester City Football Club has began another hunt to pip Chidiebere Nwakali, a mwmbwr of the victorious team at the 2013 FIFA U-17 World Cup.

According to news reaching the sports desk of CEOAFRICA, the midfielder, who played key role in securing the trophy for Nigeria, will fly to Manchester from Lagos along with his parents to hold talks with the City officials today.

Should the deal be completed, Nwakali will be earning 300,000 a year in wages, fees and add-ons from the day he clocks 18.

The move follows a failed attempt to sign 17-year-old striker Kelechi Iheanacho, who has verbally agreed a deal with Porto amid heavy interest from City.
