The Emir of Kano and the former Governor of Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), Emir Muhammed Sanusi is set to grace the International Conference at the University of Ibadan with the theme tagged “TAX HAVENS AND THE DEVELOPING WORLD: The Global Dimension” organized by the Centre for General Studies (CGS) and the Office of International Programmes (OIP) on Wednesday, 2nd August, 2017 as the Royal father of the day.
Also with him are the Keynote Speakers for the conference, Professor A. H. Ekpo Professor of Economics and Director General, West African Institute for Financial and Economic Management (WAIFEM), Lagos, Nigeria to speak on ‘Tax Havens: Issues of International Tax Evasion and Avoidance – A Global Perspective’ and Professor Bayo Okunade, Department of Political Science, University of Ibadan to speak on ‘Tax Havens and the New International Morality’.
Many important personalities have confirmed attendance for the event; also CEOAfrica will be in attendance to cover every bit of the event.
Speaking with one of the organizers of the international conference, Professor Charles Adesina said “the committee is set to receive important personalities from all over the world and the conference is free for everyone to come learn and see how we can help blaze the trail for the success of the country.”
