US Donates 26 Vehicles to Djiboutian Army

DJIBOUTI – Authorities of Djibouti has received 26 new vehicles donated to its army by the United States Foreign Military Financing Programme (FMFP).

Defence Minister Hassan Darar Houffaneh and Chief of the Armed Forces Zakaria Cheik Ibrahim received the delivery of 12 Toyota Land Cruiser pick-up trucks and 14 Toyota Land Cruiser all-terrain vehicles.

The armed forces will use the new vehicles in their upcoming deployment to Beledweyne as part of the African Union Mission in Somalia.
