The home-based Super Eagles will travel by road to Cotonou on Friday ahead of the 2018 African Nations Championship playoffs first leg qualifier against Benin Republic.

Super Eagles media officer, Toyin Ibitoye, in a Complete sports report said that the team will travel from their training camp in Kano to Lagos by air then proceed to Cotonou by road.

The first leg qualifier between Benin Republic and the home-based Super Eagles is billed for Sunday, August 13, while the return leg comes up a week later in Kano.

The winners over two legs will qualify for the 2018 CHAN in Kenya.
