An astute politician and a member of Buhari Support Organization (BSO), Dr. Stephen Fasakin said that Buhari’s administration has revealed to Nigerians that we have been living a lie, adding that President Buhari met an empty treasury and this government is trying to plot and strengthened its strategies in order to deliver its best.

In an exclusive interview with CEOAfrica on ‘COMMUNITY TODAY’ an online TV program, Dr. Fasakin reels out the success of Buhari’s administration for the past two years.

He recalled the statement of a particular military regime who said that, “My problem is not money but how to spend it,” stating his regret that if Buhari was the head of state during that era, may be Nigeria will not be in this mess.

Dr Fasakin pointed out the fact that Nigerians should thank God for giving us a visionary like Buhari at a time like this. Adding that Buhari’s administration is a God sent government to deliver its people from the problem of the unknown they are battling with. “This government has done something no other government has done,” he said.

“Corruption is a cankerworm that has eaten deep into the heart of the nation but this government has tried its best to a certain level to fight this disease, also the introduction of Treasury Single Account (TSA) has in a long way helped the situation.”

“This government has been able to uncover different location of Nigerian’s money. We are too blessed to be in this kind of mess. There is enough to go round every Nigerians but the greedy ones will never be satisfied,” he said.

Dr. Fasaskin further noted that the major problem in Nigeria is that people are not properly informed. Our leaders are not plain enough for the masses to see. The past administrations left the country in a helpless state leaving this present administration to start from the scratch.

He noted that a government that achieves 5 percent of curbing corruption has gone a long way.

He concluded by saying that the success of Buhari’s administration will be a stepping stone to greatness  because Buhari has passion for this nation but he needs the prayer of every citizen in order to succeed in his quest
