Gov. Ortom of Benue state met with the president at the Presidential Villa, Abuja over the persistent Fulani herdsmen attacks in Benue State, on Tuesday.

In a tweet via his official twitter handle, he disclosed measures to arrest the situation, Buhari said security operatives have been deployed to Benue to “fish out the attackers.”

Buhari wrote: “I just met with the Governor of Benue State. I assured Governor Ortom of our total commitment to the security of lives & property in Benue and elsewhere.

“We have deployed additional security resources to fish out the attackers, bring them to justice, and prevent further attacks.”
