Ajagunle Zone Trader’s Association celebrates New Year Annual Thanksgiving

A life of praising God, even in the face of challenges and conscious attitude of offering thanksgiving to God for what he has done in the past, would guarantee a better future.

This was the case of the members of Ajagunle zone trader’s association, Bola Ige International Market, Gbagi, Ibadan as they celebrate their New Year annual thanksgiving party to thank God for sparing their lives to see the year 2018.

 

The thanksgiving party which had in attendance some Ministers of God and their Muslim counterparts, members of the zone and the executive members of Bola Ige International market featured prayers, awards presentation and the commissioning of the Ajegunle Textile market sign post.

 

Alhaji Dauda Agboola, the chairman, Bola Ige International market, while addressing the Ajagunle zone trader’s union, expressed joy and appreciated the peaceful manner in which the programme was conducted. He used the opportunity to pray for members of the zone ask God to make them soar higher in all their life endeavours.

 

Alfa Adebayo Taofeek, an award recipient thanked the zone members for honouring him and used the opportunity to throw more light on the significance of the programme which he said was aimed at giving thanks to God for His protection over all the members of the zone for the past one year and for allowing maximum peace to reign in the zone.

 

Alhaji Suajudeen Akinwale, the Chairman, Ajegunle Zone Trader’s Association, Bola Ige International market, appreciated God for His protection and grace in making the programme a reality. He admonished members of the zone never to be deterred in pursuing their goals and the common goal of making Ajegunle a better place.

 

He further prayed for the repose of the soul of one of the members of the zone, Sina.

 

Among those that were presented awards include Pastor Idowu, Alfa Adebayo Taofeek, Alhaji Akeem, Mr. Chiemere and host of others.
