Eminent Nigerians yesterday paid glowing tributes to former Vice President Alex Ekwueme, at the commendation service held in his honor at the Michael Okara Square, Independence Layout Enugu today January 31st.

Among the dignitaries at the service were former Vice President, Atiku Abubakar, Deputy Senate President, Ike Ekweremadu, South-East and South- South Governors, James Ibori, Peter Obi, representatives of the leadership of Ohanaeze Ndigbo and others.
