As the world marks the International Women's Day, the Vice Chancellor of Chrisland University, Abeokuta, Prof. [Mrs] Chinedum Peace Babalola has been selected as one of the speakers at this year conference on International Forum on Women & Sustainable Development in Africa organized by the Tazania Academy of Sciences (TAAS).
Prof. Babalola is expected to speak at the event which holds at the Nyerere International Convention Centre, Dar-esalam, Tanzania alongside other female accomplishers.
The programme billed to hold between 8th and 10th March, 2018 is designed to mark this year International Women's Day, a day set aside to celebrate women across the globe.
The event will among other things focus on issues affecting women in Africa and the expected roles of women in achieving sustainable goals in Africa.
It will be recalled that Prof. Babalola who was recently honored as the first female pharmacist Vice Chancellor in Nigeria and a distinguished pharmacist by the Nigeria Academy of Pharmacy (NAPharm) was at the 8th International symposium Conference organized by Centre Human Security and Dialogue Olusegun Obasanjo Presidential Library in partnership with Global Commission on Drug Policy on Saturday 3rd March, where she spoke on the topic Drug Policies in Africa: What Works.
