One Ajaja, the hunter reportedly shot dead an elephant at Janiyi camp in Idanre Local Government Area of Ondo State.

Idanre is Nigeria's largest cocoa producing area and according to an indigene of the town, who commented under the post, elephants have been destroying their cocoa farms.

Ajaja, the hunter is said to have killed another elephant 12 years ago.
