Prof. Isaac Albert to serve as a panelist in a new book presentation

The glaring place of peace in fostering both human and capital development in the world cannot be over-emphasized and for this singular reason, the Institute of Peace and Strategic Studies (IPSS) University of Ibadan is set to present a new book as part of its core mandate in promoting peace in the country and the world at large.

Known for his uncompromising determination to entrenching maximum peace in the country and Africa as a continent, the Director of IPSS, Prof. Isaac Olawale Albert has been chosen to serve as one of the panelists who will further unravel the hidden treasures of peace resolutions contained in the new book.

Prof. Albert who could be described as the apostle of peace owing to the numerous roles he has played in ensuring that peace remains the best and only language everyone understands will help in dissecting the contents of the new book which is titled ''Guns and Society in Colonial Nigeria'' and authored by an American based scholar, Saheed Aderinto.

Prof. Albert is a lecturer at the University of Ibadan and as the director of the Institute of Peace and Strategic Studies, IPSS, Prof. Albert has been able to make the propagation and the campaign for peace his natural emblem. He is a renowned genius in area of peace and conflict resolution whose campaigns have touched the nooks and crannies of the country and Africa at large.

With the calibre of Prof. Albert as a panelist at the public presentation of the new book, maximum acquisition of knowledge on peace and conflict resolutions should be considered guaranteed by participants.
