AEDC Seeks Improved Electricity Bill Payment From Nasarawa Customers

The Abuja Electricity Distribution Company (AEDC) has urged electricity customers under the Nasarawa region to improve on paying electricity bills from the current 45 percent, Daily Trust reports.
The General Manager, Nasarawa Region, Ameen Shakur who led a delegation to the Chief of Gurku community in the state said customers are also being sensitized on the dangers of building or trading under wires, while urging the government to stop allocating lands under cables’ right of way.
“It is about 45 per cent rate for the bill payment. Certainly, there will be improvement in collection but we need them to support us that is why we are sensitizing them,” Shakur who represented the Managing Director, Ernest Mupwaya said.
