As it is the norm of every tertiary institutions in the country to matriculate new intakes, Chrisland University, Abeokuta, Ogun State will today, 15th of March hold her 3rd matriculation ceremony for students who were newly admitted for the 2017/2018 academic session.
The programme which is designed to formally confirm the status of the matriculants as bonafide students of the University will take place at the school auditorium at exactly 10 am prompt.
Invited as the guest speaker of the occasion is Prof. Oladapo Walker , fomer WHO representative is expected to speak on student’s general attitudes towards their academic performance as well as the need for the new students to key into the entrepreneurial programme of Chrisland University.
The Professor of Pharmacology was a former WHO representative to Uganda and a former Co-ordinator of the Inter Country Support team (IST) for West Africa and East Africa. Prof. Walker also served as WHO representative in countries like Zimbabwe, Burkina Faso and lots more.
The management , staff and student of the university to be led by the Vice Chancellor, Prof. Chinedum Peace Babalola will be on ground to receive dignitaries including the Chancellor and founder of the University, High Chief Winifred Awosika.
