FASHOLA INAUGURATES COMMITTEE TO IMPROVE TOURISM IN LAGOS STATE

The Governor of Lagos State, Babatunde Fashola has highlighted the need for the Federal Government to encourage the growth of tourism and the hospitality industry in order to strengthen the nation’s economy.

Inaugurating the State Hotel Grading and Classification Review and Appeal Committee on Monday, Governor Fashola noted that the nation’s tourism potentials have not been fully harnessed; adding that everyone must endeavour to manage its own allotted roles for the tourism industry to flourish.

He further stated that Tourism and hospitality in many parts of Africa are sources for creating employment and generating revenue.
