You Shall Walk Again: Hon Sugar to Oyo Indigenes, as he gives out free Prosthetic Limbs

As part of his mission as a democratically elected member of the Federal House of Representatives in Abuja, the lawmaker representing Lagelu/Akinyele Federal Constituency, Hon. (Dr.) Olatoye Sugar, who has touched several lives through his foundation, the Olatoye Sugar Foundation (OSF), is set to commence free distribution of prosthetic limbs to the people of his state across the 33 Local Government Areas.

Having carried out several humanitarian and philanthropic projects including Youth empowerment programmes, free surgical procedures and many more, the “You Shall Walk Again” programme comes as yet another programme geared towards touching the lives of the electorates in the grassroot.

In line with the words of Hubert H. Humphrey who in his last speech said: “…the moral test of government is how that government treats those who are in the dawn of life, the children; those who are in the twilight of life, the elderly; those who are in the shadows of life; the sick, the needy and the handicapped,” Hon. (Dr.) Olatoye Temitope Sugar, the Chairman, House Committee on Urban Development and Regional Planning has through his foundation, Olatoye Sugar Foundation (OSF) announced the commencement of registration for the “You Shall Walk Again” outreach aimed at giving out free artificial limbs to persons who have lost their arms or legs to amputation across the 33 Local Government Areas of Oyo State.

The foundation which had in the past successfully conducted other humanitarian services including Free Healthcare Service delivery, provision of infrastructural facilities and many others to the people of Oyo state is throwing open registration for the “You Shall Walk Again” programme scheduled to hold between Monday 9th April to Friday, 20th April, 2018.

The registration process will hold at the Olatoye Sugar Foundation (OSF) state headquarters located on Plot 100, Bodija-UI road, Agbowo, Ibadan.

The two-week long registration process will run between the hours of 9am and 5pm daily.
