The people of Oke-Omi community under Lagelu Local Government received Hon. Olatoye Sugar with songs and drums during the weekend when he paid a visit to the on-going drainage expansion project along Iwo-Ibadan express road.

Honorable Olatoye Temitope Sugar member representing Lagelu/Akinyele federal constituency and Chairman House Committee on Urban Development and Regional Planning, while speaking with CEOAfrica correspondent at Oke-Omi said the Iwo- Ibadan express road is a federal project and he had written quite a number of letters on behalf of the community to see that the drainage was expanded but all his effort was abortive. He therefore took it as a responsibility to come to the rescue of the people as he could not withstand their pains and suffering anymore.

Hon. Sugar assured the people of Oke-Omi community that the drainage expansion project will be completed within 21 days and the people will live comfortably again.

In the same vein, residents of Ejioku community showed their appreciation to Hon. Sugar has they came out in large numbers to welcome him upon his arrival at the Chief Magistrate Court.
Hon. Sugar said he was called upon two weeks ago to help renovate the building has the structure of the Chief Magistrate Court was nothing to write home about.

Has he was showing construction officers the work to be done at the magistrate court, he mentioned that the major renovation will be: fixing of sliding windows, celling, door frames, modern toilet, cementing, fixing of fans, construction of bore-hole, provision of generator, repainting of the building in order to beautify the environment.

Hon. Sugar assured people of Ejioku community that, before three weeks the Chief Magistrate Court’s renovation will be completed.

Meanwhile, the weekly free medical care services rendered by Olatoye Sugar Foundation (OSF) has continued to spread its tentacles to the nooks and crannies of Oyo State and Ibadan which is usually the weekly grand finale to end OSF activities for the week, every Saturday at the OSF headquarters in Ibadan.
As part of his commitment to rendering assistance to the less privileged and downtrodden masses in the society, Hon. Dr. Olatoye Temitope Sugar on Saturday 7th April, donated a sum of One Hundred Thousand Naira to Moyosore Kehinde, one-year-old hydrocephalus patient for a major medical surgery at the University College Hospital (UCH) Ibadan.

Moyosore Kehinde has been diagnosed with hydrocephalus symptoms which is fluid in the brain since he was seven month old and this has caused sporadic enlargement in his head to the extent that he could no longer control the movement.

Presenting the cheque personally, at the Olatoye Sugar Foundation, Oyo State Headquarters, Hon. Dr. Olatoye Temitope Sugar thanked God for the opportunity to affect lives positively saying this is in demonstration of his passion to liberate and bring relief to the less privileged, widow and children.
He described the presentation of the cheque as part of the fulfilment of his promise to always assist little children with chronic diseases saying Moyosore is one of them. Hon Sugar later promised that OSF will add more cash in case there is need for more to ensure the successful operation of little Moyosore at UCH, Ibadan.
He disclosed further that, there is an understanding between OSF and the management of some reputable hospitals in Oyo State to assist those who could not foot their medical bills.
The lawmaker representing Lagelu-Akinyele Federal Constituency in the National Assembly, Abuja assured and promised to continue to making lives meaningful in all strata of life.
The mother of the patient, Mayowa Kehinde from Orita Aperin in Ibadan North East Local Government Area of Oyo State told newsmen that, when she observed that the head is getting bigger than all other parts of the body, she called attention of her neighbors who advised her to take the child to the hospital for proper medical attention.
She further explained that, they have been to many places both private and government hospital before they were directed to the University College Hospital (UCH) Ibadan where they requested for huge amount which the entire family could not afford.
The mother noted that failure to raise the money needed for the operation at the University College Hospital (UCH) Ibadan brought them to Olatoye Sugar Foundation (OSF) Free Medical Centre at Ibadan, the Oyo State capital.
She passionately thanked the benefactor and prayed for success in all his endeavors urging other political office holders to emulate Hon. Sugar in providing succour to the masses.

Also, in recognition of his selfless service to the masses, the National Automobile Technician Associations (NATA) announced Hon. Temitope Sugar as the Patron for the association.

The National Automobile Technician Associations members turned up in their uniforms at the Olatoye Sugar Foundation (OSF) headquarters, located at Bodija-UI road, Agbowo, Ibadan.
While speaking with CEOAfrica correspondent, the State Chairman of NATA, Alhaji Lamidi Adewale, said ‘‘Hon. Sugar has done several memorable projects for the association, he singlehandedly donated the first bus for the association as well as Car Fault Detector, which reduces the stress of repairing automobiles, these and many more ignites the move for his new position.’’
Also the Secretary of the association, Comrade Ismaila Adigun commended the good deeds of Hon. Sugar and affirmed that the position given to him is solely because of his numerous contributions to the group and the society at large.
Honourable Sugar while accepting the new position promised his full-fledged support for the association.
Among those who were present at the ceremony were APC chieftains and members of NATA who honoured their new patron with the association anthem and chorus.
