President Muhammadu Buhari has just received Archbishop of Canterbury, Archbishop Justin Welby and Nigeria’s High Commissioner to United Kingdom, Amb. George Adesola Oguntade, at Abuja house in London.

This information is contained in the official tweeter handle of Bashir Ahmaad, the personal Assistant to President Muhammadu Buhari on New Media. Recall that Archbishop Welby had visited President Buhari on the 4 of April, 2017, when the later travelled for his medical check-ups in London.

Upon his visit then Archbishop Welby said that he was delighted to see the rapid recovery President Buhari had made from his health challenges, noting that it was “a testimony to the healing powers of God, and answer to prayers of millions of people round the world.

The cleric finally pledged to continue praying for both President Buhari and Nigeria.

In view of that therefore, Archbishop of Canterbury today visited Buhari on hearing that he jetted into the country for his leave.

The reason for his visit is yet to be disclosed.
