Not less than four people have been confirmed dead while 19 others sustained various degrees of injury in multiple accidents on the Bauchi Road, Dogon Danmarke, Wudil Local Government Area of Kano State.

According to report received, the spokesperson for the state Fire Service, Alhaji Saidu Mohammed, said that the accident occurred at 10.44 am.

He explained that, three vehicles, a Toyota Hummer car with registration number SA297GME; Volkswagen Golf car with registration number SSP134ES; and another Volkswagen Sharon Golf car with registration number SA158PAT collided during the incident.

He said the accident was caused by excessive speeding and loss of control, adding that 23 people were involved in the accident.

Mohammed noted that the victims were conveyed to the Wudil General Hospital, where medical officials confirmed that four died and 19 were injured.
