Sokoto state governor spokesman, Imam Imam, has died. The41year-old man died in the early of today April 27th at an Abuja hospital where he was receiving treatment for an undisclosed ailment.

Presidential media aide, Bashir Ahmad, who confirmed Imam's death, took to twitter to mourn him. Bashir wrote

''Very very in shock! Oh Allah, Imam Imam is gone, this life is ‘absolutely’ nothing. Ya Allah forgive all his shortcomings, comfort and take care his family and grant him the highest rank of Jannah. Allah ya jikan Imam. He was so amazing, very good person and a friend to all''.
