Hon.Sugar at Emilangbe-Aladi Bridge
The inhabitants of Ona-ara local government area on Friday welcomed the honorable member representing Lagelu/Akinyele Federal Constituency and Chairman House Committee on Urban Development and Regional Planning as well as the founder of Olatoye Sugar Foundation (OSF), Hon. Temitope Olatoye with songs and traditional drums as he inspects four bridges in the community.
Seeing the deteriorating state of the bridges identified as Ire-Akari, Ariyo, Emilangbe-Aladi and Olunloyo, Hon. Sugar while speaking with CEOAfrica correspondent promised that he will singlehandedly re-construct them. “I have heard several complaints about these bridges and I decided to inspect them today, although my teams have been here to look at situations of things but my coming here today is needful as well. The construction of these bridges will start in the next fifteen days. Also, I will donate cows to the Butchers’ Association in this community. All these are my personal project, in fact, I have been doing this even before I assumed political position and I will not stop because it has become a lifestyle”.

Likewise, Hon. Sugar visited the OSF branch at Emialangbe Aladi community where several beneficiaries of the OSF free weekly medical services gave testimonies about him. One of the beneficiaries has this to say:

Ismaila Olasupo testifying about OSF Free Health Care Service across the state
“My name is Ismaila Olasupo, I battled with anemia for some years but 2years ago the OSF coordinator for this branch took me to the OSF clinic at Iyana Church where I was operated for free and since then I have been healthy. I am grateful to Hon.Sugar and I pray that God will take him to Agodi government house”.
Also, the OSF Coordinator for Emilangbe Aladi, Mrs. Adeyemo Eto-Olorun expressed her uttermost joy about the honorable visitation as she endlessly prayed for him. She disclosed that the OSF branch started two years ago and the existing members for now are over 200 plus.
Speaking on Dino Melaye’s saga, Hon.Sugar urged the embattled senator to be strong and face the opposition as there is no politician that will not have such challenges. “There is light at the end of the tunnel, I face mine some years back and afterwards, God vindicated me. Also the suspension of the senate plenary to visit him at the hospital is constitutional as well because an injury to one is also an injury to all” he said.
He encouraged the inhabitants of the community to collect their Permanent Voters Cards (PVC’s) and ensure it is kept in a safe place so that they will be able to exercise their electoral right at the forth coming election.
