17-year-old Mayam Yahaya has been arrested by the Plateau State Police Command for stabbing her husband, Lawal Bala to death.

CEOAFRICA news correspondence gathered that the wife of the deceased has confessed to horrible incident which occurred at Gengere Local Government Area of Jos, on the course of their investigation, stating that she stabbed her husband while he was sleeping.

She further revealed that she killed her husband over frequent demand for sex, adding though she is now regretting her actions but that she was frustrated by her husband who always forces her to have sex with him whenever he was at and at time, would come take break from work just to have sex with her.

The young widow also confessed to have developed hatred for her deceased husband who despite her pleadings, has refused to understand her and was always forcing her to have sex with him.

She further pointed out that the deceased husband who had sex several times with her on the day of the incident, frustrated her into what she did, explaining that there was no way she would have run away, for her parents would always bring her back to the husband.

Mayam yahaya, however pleaded for mercy and compassion, calling on the government to come to her aid because of her unborn child, for she killed her husband out of frustration.
