Following the just concluded election in Zimbabwe, first official result released indicated that Robert Mugabe’s Zanu-PF is leading.

CEOAFRICA.com gathered that the ruling party has won 25 of 28 parliamentary seats announced, despite electoral observers comment that the election was seriously compromised.

In his reaction to the just concluded election, Zimbabwean Prime Minister and Presidential candidate of MDC party, Morgan Tsvangirai described the election as a huge farce, alleging that the ruling party rigged in most part of the country.

Mr. Tsvangirai also said that many people were disfranchised from performing their civic duty to vote, and for him, the election lack credibility.

Should Robert Mugabe emerged winner, it would be his eight term in office.
